This is a very preppy cardigan!!! I knew it would be, and honestly it looks fine in a female.
It’s heavier than I expected, and the cute tends to pull at the back of the neck making it slightly uncomfortable. It’s warm, and fits well. The durability it evident in the quality, you can tell this is high quality material that will not get those little fuzz balls on it.
It will last a very long time, but the buttons are a little much. I guess that’s more a style thing than anything else.
I would not pay the price for it. I’ve found many cardigans that are much more comfortable and half the price.

This cardigan made me think of the way people dressed back in the seventies and eighties. Not "people" as in the younger crowd, but folks like university professors and scientists - people like that. Of course, they weren't actually "people" to me. When you are a kid, though, "people" are other kids, like your brothers, sisters and the school bully. Journalists, doctors and physicists are somewhere up there with God, police officers and Dad. But I do remember cardigans of this style worn with horn rimmed glasses, with tweeds, and lots of ashtrays, etc.Anyway, now that I have entered a more matronly phase of my own life, perhaps I have graduated into this more sophisticated style. This cardigan does indeed boast a lightweight fabric, an updated version of the heavier ones of yore. It looks stretched but it is not. It is quite spry. The grey is neutral and calls no attention to itself. I wore it with shorts and nylons that day but looking back, I think that a longer skirt and boots would have been a better look.
This was really a surprising finds the fit is as expected and the fabric is soft. This casual top is a great color and it is not too thick that could make you overheat. The sleeves and a good length for me which is normally where jackets do not fit.I have not washed it as yet, but if it does not hold up, I will update my review. The only this is that it took a while to get it, but other than that, I am really happy with it.

It listed as unisex and I can definitely see that. I’m a woman but it would look great on my son as well. I really like the color, it’s a soft gray. I love how soft it is and it’s warm without being too bulky or making me too hot. It’s made extremely well with no visible seam flaws or loose threads. The bottom and cuffs have a nice band that I like. There are two pockets on the outside but also two hidden pockets on the inside and I appreciate the extra storage spaces. I can wear this with about anything…..jeans, leggings, shorts or with athletic apparel. It’s very versatile and a great piece to add to your wardrobe.
